Jud Smith won the 2022 J/70 North American Championship hosted by Port Credit Yacht Club on September 22-25 in Mississauga, ON. Conditions went from wild to weak over the eight races, with Smith’s team of Marc Gauthier, Carlos Robles, and Patrick Wilson topping the 23-boat fleet. Jim Raisides/ Charlie Pendleton on Bad Hombres won the 11-boat Corinthian Division, followed by David Kerr/ Lee Sackett and Jean Marc Papin. – Details
