Corpus Christi, TX (July 20, 2021) – Forty-two USA teams representing 14 states took to the waters of Corpus Christi Bay for the opening day of the 2021 J/22 World Championship. Unsettled conditions only permitted one race, dominated by Jeff Progelhof’s Schitzen Giggles (Rush Creek Yacht Club) with crew Paul Foerster and Rod Favela. In winds between 6-8 knots, Travis Odenbach’s Honeybadger placed second and Tom Meeh’s Meehem in third.
