Ft. Lauderdale, FL (May 15, 2022) – Peter Duncan’s Raza Mixta (above) with Victor Diaz de Leon, Erik Shampain, Matt Pistay, and Morgan Trubovich won the 2022 Melges 24 World Championship over the 31-boat fleet.

After taking the lead yesterday, Duncan’s team entered today with a four point lead and one race remaining. However, after the final race was started, it was abandoned after the first upwind mark due to the major wind shift, and now past the deadline for starting a race, Duncan sealed the victory.

In the Corinthian division, victory goes to Taki 4 (below), claiming their fourth Corinthian World Title with Niccolo Bertola, Giacomo Fossati, Giovanni Bannetta, Pietro Seghezza, and Marco Zammarchi.

Racing was held on May 11-15, 2022.
