Fifty teams are registered for the 2022 Lightning World Championship to be held May 18-21 in Wrightsville Beach, NC. The biennial event, postponed from 2021, hosts defending 2-time world champ Javier Conte (ARG) who will face past titlists David Starck (USA), Tito Gonzalez (CHI), and Matt Fisher (USA) in the 8-race series.
