Alessio Stillrich Gives an Update 6 Months on From Breaking Leg in 7 Places
In 2017, Alessio Stillrich (Fanatic / Duotone) broke into the overall top 10 for the first time in his career as the 23-year-old really started to make his mark on the world tour as this exciting talent continued to prosper.
However, while training for the 2018 season in Cape Town, South Africa, in January disaster struck when Stillrich broke his leg in 7 places upon landing a backloop. Thankfully, it looks as though Stillrich will make a full recovery and he seems to be in good spirits regarding his recovery.
Everyone from the PWA would like to wish Alessio continued success with his rehabilitation and look forward to seeing him back competing in 2019.
