The ground floor of a new coastal home overlooks a large cove on the Rhode Island coast, and when the layout included a theater, the owner had the space designed to mimic the look and feel of a classic yacht interior.

The job brought together yacht designers from Langan Design Associates, craftsmen from Newport Yacht Builders, and America’s Cup winner Jerry Kirby as general contractor. When the job was completed, the esteemed yachting photographer Billy Black captured the finished work. – Full report
