A wounded otter went on a rampage in a restaurant in Norway, sending panicked patrons scurrying out the doors.
“We did not know what kind of animal it was. I have never seen an animal like that in my life,” Skippy’s Fast Food owner Mohamed Rashed told Norway’s TV2. “I was terrified it was going to attack.”
The otter had suffered gashes to its legs and face, possibly from a boat propeller.
Witnesses said it was breathing heavily when it made its way into the restaurant in Alesund last week.
Terrified customers fled, and wildlife officials were called to the scene.
The otter bit one of them on the finger and eventually had to be euthanized, The Local reported.
