Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal (May 24, 2019) – The fifth day of the Laser Europeans delivered great sailing conditions for the Standard Rig men and Radial Rig women on the penultimate day of the championship. Two more races were completed today with Olympic champion Tom Burton (AUS) and Anne-Marie Rindom (DEN) maintaining their leads. Among the top North Americans, Chris Barnard (USA) moved up to 19th and Erika Reineke (USA) moved up to 7th.

Racing will be held in three divisions – Laser Standard Senior (162 entries), Laser Radial Women’s Senior (120 entries), and Laser Radial Men’s Senior (41 entries) – on May 20 to 25.
